Dealanylalahopcin

Dealanylalahopcin is an antimicrobial agent that can be isolated from the culture filtrate of Streptomyces leucoderma subsp. ochraceus. Dealanylalahopcin can also be synthesized by enzymatic hydrolysis of alahopcin by microbial α-amino acid ester hydrolases. Dealanylalahopcin has weak antimicrobial activity against Gram-positive and Gram-negative bacteria and exhibits moderate inhibition of collagen prolyl hydroxylase[1].
